Silicastone Table Tops

Silicastone is our first table top made of recycled materials. Consisting of 99.9% recycled glass and ceramic, it's heat, scratch & UV resistant. We recommend indoor use only for now as it's not classed as waterproof. Silicastone is a sustainable alternative to natural stone but has the same characteristics. Straight/Chamfer & Bullnose edges are available. Inserts needed to fix to table base though can be bonded to substrates as well. Use of metal edge to protect edges is recommended as the edges cannot be fully glazed and are therefore prone to chipping. It can also come in bespoke colours. Silicastone comes in honed and glazed surfaces, we are currently investigating the suitability of honed surfaces for table tops.
